Temporary Kennel Closure 20 January to 27 February 2025 - We can only apologise for the inconvenience, but sadly due to a very serious road traffic accident Sam was involved in and the injuries she sustained, we have had to make the sad decision to close our Dog Boarding Kennels temporarily until 27 February. This is to enable Sam to fully heal from her injuries. We will still be manning reception to take enquiries and bookings and will be using the time to do a huge spring clean. We hope to see you all soon and hope you understand this was a very difficult but necessary decision for us to make.

 

Noah's Ark Pet Holiday Home's pet boarding is available at value for money prices. Our daily rates are all inclusive of the following

Daily Rates

Boarding fees are charged by the day. Collection of pets Monday to Saturday between 9:00am and 10:00am, and Sundays & Bank Holidays between 11:00am and 12:00pm will not be charged for day of collection. If pets are booked in to be collected after this time, the daily fee will apply. (Collection time must be provided at the time of making the booking) with us.

 

Most bookings require a 50% non refundable deposit before they are confirmed. Due to the continued volume of cancellations at Christmas and Easter, 100% non refundable non transferable deposits are required for Easter, Christmas, August School Holidays and Bank Holiday bookings. Deposits can be paid at reception, bank transfer, or over the phone. Bank transfer and Cash preferred please.

 

Minimum 2 days stay Christmas,  Easter, August School Holiday Weekends and Bank Holidays.

IMPORTANT: When comparing prices, please ensure you also check each kennel's star rating with their local council. Stars aren't just awarded for decor and facilities, they take into account how may team members you have to look after your pets, how often we take them out, how often we fully clean the kennels, our emergency procedures, heating policy to name but a few.

 

• £24.50 per day for: 0 - 24kg

usually Yorkshire Terriers, Westies, Jack Russell Terriers, Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos,

Cairn Terriers, Fox Terriers, King Charles Spaniels, Staffies, Cocker and Springer Spaniels, Bedlingtons, Whippets, Bull Terriers.

• £26.50 per day for: 25kg plus

usually Labradors, Boxers, Dalmatians, German Shepherds, Collies, Huskies. Great Danes, Mastiffs, Newfoundlands, Bernese, Old English, Akitas

 

• £14.50 per day for: Cats 

 

Pets sharing accommodation from the same household will have a reduction on the price depending on how many there are sharing.

Vet Travel and Medication

We are able to give your pets their medication during their stay, there is £3 daily surcharge for this unless it just needs popping in their food and is taken without assistance. 

 

If your pet needs vet care during their stay, and we have your permission to take them the following charges apply:

Zone 1 £15

Zone 2 £20

Zone 3 £25

 

We only use licenced pet transport.

 

If a visit is required out of normal working hours, there may be an additional charge to cover staff time.

Discounts

​

Please do not ask us for discounts on the daily rate, as a Business hit incredibly hard during the Corona Pandemic, the energy crisis and now the Cost of Living Crisis we are working hard to survive these periods. Such requests will be regarded as highly insensitive.

 

Pet pick up and drop offs

 

We no longer provide this service but can provide details of local service providers.

 

**Terms & Conditions**

 

All pets must have an up to date vaccination certificate, and this must be produced on the day of arrival. If the kennel cough vaccine is given, it must be done at least two weeks prior to coming into the kennels or we will be unable to accept your dog.

When booking your pet in, it's very important you let us know about any behavioral issues, existing lumps & bumps, medical conditions and allergies. We won't be able to care for your dog if they have any history of showing aggression towards people, kennel guarding, or excessive and continuous barking that could prove stressful for the other dogs in our care. Its essential we can be confident that we can fully care for your pet, ie walk them safely, clean their kennel, and in the event of any injury be able to treat them.

 

Where your pet is on medication, please ensure you provide us with a detailed plan, ie considering if the medication is food dependant, and your pet is off their food. 

 

Collars and ID tags are required to be worn. 

 

XL Bully Breeds

Due to the restrictions outlined in our insurance policy, we have made the sad decision that we can no longer accept this breed. This decision does not reflect our opinion on the breed, but is based on the belief that the restrictions imposed would not be in the breeds best interest, or allow us to meet their welfare needs.

 

Minimum two night stay weekends from 15 March to 15 September. 

 

You must inform your vet that your pet is staying with us and we have your permission to take them. A number of vet practises are changing their policies and will no longer accept our booking form with your signature and confirmation we have your permission. They are insistent you contact them directly.

 

Insured pets - you must provide details of your insurance policy number.
